Notice the Oreo mess around his mouth
Pulling up
Nate can get in so much trouble sooo fast. He found an Oreo package. He managed to get an Oreo out, take it apart, and start eating the frosting. A boy after my own heart :) Of course, he did all of this in 2 seconds flat. Mom was sneaky (in a good way) and had my family picture framed. I put it down against the wall for a minute in my bedroom. Nate followed the kitty into my bedroom and in 2 seconds flat he managed to break the glass on the frame. And then there is the glass of Dr. Pepper that he so kindly poured right into Mark's lap (2 seconds flat). On Monday, I was taking some soup to Dylan's class. Chase was sick with strep so he was out in the car waiting for me to finish this simple 5 minute errand. Three first grade classrooms were in one classroom so the room was a bit chaotic. I gave Dylan the soup and turned to leave when Nate grabs a full cup of some beverage and spills it all over the teacher's things (in 2 seconds flat). It took forever to clean up that mess. After I apologized profusely and offered to pay for any damages we finally made it back to the car. Chase was wondering why it was taking me so long until he saw how wet I was.
Nate is also learning new things so quickly. He is pulling up all the time now. He loves to pull up on the staircase and we have to position pillows just right (we learned this after a few falls on the tile). He is also trying to crawl up the staircase. We really need to find the gate for the stairs. Papa has been working with Nate on standing up. He stood without support for about 30 seconds! He is growing up way too fast, like in 2 seconds flat.

Isn't it amazing? When they're infants, you can just watch them all day because of how precious they are, THEN, when they're able to move around and get into things, you HAVE to watch them all day because who knows what they're going to get into next? If we leave doors open anywhere in our house, Jacob is all over it. He even sits there and listens for someone to open a door and then he's running. And the pantry; we can't keep anything on the bottom shelf any more, otherwise it gets thrown away by little hands!!
