The Answer

Cade was complaining about his tummy hurting which isn't unusual for him. When he is over-tired or over-stimulated his tummy hurts. I was not concerned that he didn't want to eat his food at Taco Bueno because he doesn't like anything there. We then went to get my oil changed. I became concerned when he began to puke a lot in the lobby. I tried to clean it up, but cheap paper towels were not made for the job. We had to wait for the mop. All of a sudden, Nate comes running. He runs into the puke spill and slips into the pile of puke. His clothes are now coated in puke. I have no car to make a quick escape, so I did the only thing I could do...laugh. Off came the clothes. Just a typical day with 4 boys :)

Any Guesses

Anyone want to guess why my child looks like this in the lobby of the oil changing place?

July Phone Pics

Running in the mountains kicked my backside, but the view was wonderful.

Nate at the park in Grapevine on July 4th.  He loved the fireworks.  Mark and Chase weren't able to join us because of a youth event.
We went to Six Flags while the cousins were here.

Nate was finally tall enough for the gunslinger.

He also got brave and rode the mine train.
Drew and Lee were fighting it out to be the favorite cousin.

Chase got his braces off

Straight From Nate

We piled out of the car at VBS tonight. Nate said, "Woo, it's hot. It must be 1 degree out here."

"That's really cold. Do you mean 100 degrees? One degree is really cold, and 100 degrees is really hot."

"Yeah, it's like 2 degrees, or 3, or 4 degrees."

I don't think the temperature lesson sunk in this time.

I Am a Robot, a Big and Silly Robot

Mark's coffee maker died right before Father's Day.  Perfect timing since it is notoriously difficult to buy a present for him.  Nate was especially excited about the gift and couldn't wait for Mark to open it.

Nate took the box, put it over his head, started to walk stiffly while saying in robot voice, "I am a robot, a big and silly robot."

That he is!
Dylan cut an eyehole and armholes for Nate.
Chase had to try it too.  I don't know why Nate has a ruler.

Sam's Party

We were able to go to a skating birthday party for Sam.  I was very worried about how Cade would do since physical activities that require coordination can be difficult for him.  He LOVED it!  They had "walkers" that Cade was able to use.  The other boys had fun too, but Cade really enjoyed it.  Unfortunately, the birthday boy broke his arm :(

Here is the walker
Skating was a bit too challenging for Nate

Check out the roller skate disco ball - groovy!
The birthday boy - see the splint on his other arm.
The boys got packages of water balloons as a party favor.  They have had so much fun with these balloons.  The party was in June, and I am still finding random balloons around the house :)  Happy birthday, Sam!
