Museum School Field Trip

Monday was Cade's Museum School field trip at the Botanical Gardens. Cade was super excited.

Here is Nate's pouty look - he has it often :)
So happy!
What's up, dawg!
So silly

Notice how well Cade is paying attention. However, I learned that roly polys are not insects, they are crustaceans.

Sweet that he is with his brother, but he is supposed to be with the group

Once again, Cade is doing a great job of staying with the group.
Nate in the cool, hollow tree. Nate got very tired and wanted to go back to the car. He fell asleep and started to run a fever later. The next morning he was just fine. Thank goodness, things are too busy for any illness!

Nate's Program

Nate's preschool program was last Thursday. Doesn't he look so cute! He was just standing there doing nothing, until he saw his Daddy. Mark caught the moment on camera. He was happy to perform after that.

Here is where he spied Chase. You can tell that he is saying "Chase".
I just love my cutie! He was so proud of himself!

We laughed hard and long from this picture - notice the girl.

More Catching Up

The last weekend in April was our neighborhood's bi-annual garage sale. I got rid of some things. We used the money to buy a freezer for our garage. With 4 boys, we needed some more freezer space. Their eating has really increased lately. I don't even want to think about the teen years. I did a little garage sale shopping myself. I was so happy to find this great sandbox! It has been a hit. Here is Cade with his buddy, Austin.
Nate was still with my parents and Dylan had a sleepover. It was really good because Cade and Chase really had a lot of fun playing together. Chase was being a super sweet brother. Here, they are having sleeping bag races down the stairs. They were having a great time.

Look at the joy on his face. He was "winning" this race.

The fierce competition

Nate came home and was so happy to see his new sandbox. I love the flying sand pictures. The shirt he has on in this picture was the 3rd shirt of the day. He has discovered that he can change his own clothes. He enjoys this game. He also hates to have anything messy on his clothes. I think he might be a little OCD. He has also decided that he does not like some of his shirts, and he refuses to wear them. This is a problem because he does not have a lot of clothes right now. Somehow I have managed to lose all of the 2T clothes. We have looked EVERYWHERE for them. I think they probably got lost in the move. I am having to buy him all new clothes - UGH! I know that I will probably find the clothes as soon as he moves up to 3T.

Random Catch Ups

I am very behind in blogging. End of year crazies are setting in at the house. Here are just a few things that I want to remember. These are pictures taken by my camera phone so forgive the quality.
Oh my Nate, Nate! He is a mess, mess, mess. He has been testing limits and getting into trouble :( He is still so super sweet! He is trying to give up his nap (no, no, NO). The problem is that he will not sleep at naptime, but he will crash at around 6. His teachers at preschool got a big kick out of him today. After his non-nap naptime, he got up and said, "Ahhh, that was a good nap." He continues to be a talker. He also continues to love his bubbas. He still loves "Scooby Doo" and "Max and Ruby". Overall, he is such a blessing to us!
Here is my new niece, Emily. Kristen is going to kill me for this picture. I don't know why I did not take a picture with my camera while Emily was here. It was so good to meet her - oh, the girl envy!
The boys had a sock hop at school. They had a great time.
Cade loves cotton candy

Nate with his best bud.
Cade with his wonderful, marvelous teacher and his good friend.

Camping with Daddy

Here are a few pictures of the boys' camping trip with Daddy. They met up with some other families there. I will have to post the rest of the pictures later. It seems that I have reached my quota of pictures, so I have had to purchase more storage space!!! It will take a day or 2 for the new storage space to become available. I will now have 10 times the storage space! Hopefully, I will not fill that up!

Here are all the kids that were on the trip. My nephew, Austin, is in the blue shirt and the Texas A&M hat. He is 15 years old, and he absolutely refuses to text me. He won't IM with me either. He will pay for this next gift-giving round :)

Cade was so very excited to get to go. This is the first time that he has been allowed to go. He was so very happy. Can't you see it in his eyes.

Throwing firecrackers into the fire - boy fun!

The boys loved climbing on the rocks. Cade was fascinated by a dead bird. Mark told me that Cade carried it around and stroked it - EWWWW. Cade was upset when the bird was taken away from him. Mark promised me that he used hand sanitizer on Cade - EWWW

This tree was hit by lightning.
