Cade's Water Day

I am so behind in my blogging. What can I say, we have been busy, busy, busy. I am going to try to catch up, but I am also behind in my typing.

Cade had water day at school the day after his graduation. The kids had a great time!
Look at my cute, white, skinny boy!

Don't ask me why he would be pretending to shave there!

Look at that concentration!

Cade would run way out in the field to get back in the bounce house because the ground was wet by the bounce house.
Picking up marbles with their feet.

Seed spitting contest. Of course, Cade doesn't like watermelon!

Cade's Kindergarten Graduation

Here are some pictures from Cade's Kindergarten graduation. The expression on his face in this one cracks me up! I can't believe that he is now a 1st grader (and VERY proud to be one). I have to say that I am very, very happy to say good-bye to half-day Kindergarten.

What Could Be Better?

What could be better than sitting in a drawer while watching t.v. and drinking milk?

Forgot this One

I forgot this picture of Nate getting himself dressed. Forget that his shirt is on backwards and he put on pajama bottoms :) He has become very independent lately and will dress himself just because he wants to dress himself. He will also change shirts during the day - just because.

Somebody Call the Fashion Police

Here is what happens when Cade gets himself ready for church! I didn't get a picture of him the next day when I asked him to get his shoes on - he minded. We arrived at our destination, and THEN I noticed that he had put on one tennis shoe and one croc. LOVELY :)

Running Club Award Ceremony

I am very behind in blogging, but I am going to try and catch up today. Here are a couple of pictures from the boys' Running Club Award Ceremony. Dylan ran 18 miles and Chase ran 29 miles. Chase ranked #3 in the 4th grade!

Six Flags on Memorial Day

The boys and I went to Six Flags on Memorial Day along with a couple of friends. Mark had to work :( Even though it was crowded, we had a GREAT time. Nate rode the Mini-Mine Train and the Roaring Rapids. He loved them. He talked about it over and over again. He would talk about going on the roller coaster and getting scared and holding on to mommy. He then would make a scary face. He is still talking about it. We went to a park today and he thought that he was getting to go on a roller coaster again! I think that he will be another roller coaster buddy for me!! Good thing, because the middle boys are definitely NOT roller coaster kids. Cade was insisting that he wanted to try the Shock Wave this time. I knew better ;) He was insisting all the way up until it was our turn to get on the roller coaster. Then he very calmly informed me that he decided that it would be better for him to wait until he was 7, then he would ride the Shock Wave. Let's just say that I am not holding my breath. He does love spinning rides.

Why oh why does the goofy face appear?

While Chase and his friend were riding the Titan and the other boys were riding a puke-inducing spinning ride, Nate and I hung out. Nate danced and danced. He was just a happy boy.

Can you tell that he is dancing?
The Bill Cosby look

A new dance, "The Airplane"

Going back to the car, he is actually asleep like that.

That looks more comfortable. What a fun day!

Dinosaur Valley

We were able to go camping with some friends at Dinosaur Valley the Friday night of Memorial weekend. I even ran into my friend, Pam. It was Nate's first time camping, and he had a great time. All the boys had a great time. Cade has been struggling a bit lately. He kept getting hurt on Saturday morning and having major meltdowns. We thought that we were going to have to go home. Fortunately, he calmed down and had a great time the rest of the day. My camera battery died, but I managed to get a few pics before it died, and the camera phone proved helpful again. My friend is going to email me some of her pictures.

The look on Dylan's face makes me laugh.
The fire was so exciting!
Nate was so excited to be in the tent.
The boys had a fantastic time playing in the water.
