Snow Days 2011

Yes, I know that it is officially spring, but I have been busy and am behind in my blogging.  Here are the pictures from the 5 snow days we had this year.  It was so cold!  Our t.v., internet, and phones were down from Wednesday through Saturday.  That really stunk!  The boys had a great time!

Chase was outside most of the time.  I don't know how he could stand it.  It was so very cold.

They ate a lot of popcorn and watched a lot of movies
Many Legos were built

Even Maggie had fun

This is what our house looked like after days and days stuck inside.  It was not pretty

Snow Day

No, I have not caught up on my work, but if I don't start posting, then my blog will be so far behind that I may never catch up. Besides, blogging is more important than work - right?

Here are some pictures from the crazy, wonderful snow that we were able to play in during February. The boys had such a great time. I don't have a lot of pictures of Chase and Dylan because they were off playing with their neighborhood friends.

Cade and Nate had a great time playing outside. I wasn't sure how Nate would do. The last time he experienced snow, he hated it. This time, he loved, loved, loved it! He stayed outside playing for hours.

We actually had even more snow after this picture.
Ready to play, and play, and play.
Nate, Cade, and I building a snowman.

Maggie loved the snow too.
Daddy made a lot of fun of our little snowman, so he helped Nate make a big one.

See our pathetic snowman?

Nate was having so much fun playing and rolling around in the snow.

Nate's feet were bright red when he came in :)

Snow and Silliness

The boys were so excited to wake up to snow!!! Too bad it was gone by noon. It was pretty while it lasted.

A major parenting weakness of mine can be summed up in one word: MORNING. A good "morning" mom I am not! Want a hot and nutritious breakfast? Then you better go to someone else's house. At our house, it is serve yourself. This catches up to me at times. Like when Cade comes home from school with this on. Yes, he wore a pullover as a shirt. Isn't it a good look?

Nate had to be in a picture. I let him, because I think he is cute :)
