When Boys Steal Your Camera

They really crack me up.  They were very proud of the "restaurant" that they built.  Lego people pulled up their vehicles and stopped for a quick bite to eat.

Cousins Come to Play

After school was out, the cousins came to play.

Chase and Ashley are only 6 months apart in age - Chase is "shrinking" down in this picture
Here is the real size difference
We went to a drive-in movie. Drew was on a mission to become Nate's favorite cousin. He was very successful.
They were dancing
Trent and Dylan
Cade "dancing". He is definitely a white boy.
Charlotte. I am so blessed to have her as a sister-in-law.

Chase's Party

Poor oldest child only gets one picture. Of course, this child really doesn't want me to blog about him. Too bad, because there are many things that are blogworthy when you have a child who is entering into the teenage years. Maybe I will have to sneak some posts in sometime ;) I do love the boy. I think he is super cute and super sweet (most of the time). I am proud to call him my son. I don't think I will get in trouble for posting that.

Cade's Awards

"A" honor roll. My Cader Raider is a sharp cookie.
Love the expression on his face.
Cade with his very sweet teacher. Notice his body posture. Wish I could say that this is an unusual pose.
Cade was so very excited to be voted by his class as "Best Boy Reader".

Dylan's End-of-Year Party

Dylan with one of his best buds. Not the best quality picture, but it is a picture of sweet boys.
Nate was a little high on donuts :)

Cade's End of Year Party

I guess I am a little bit behind with blogging since I am just now getting to the last day of school parties. Cade had a great time at his. He was happy to see Nate and made sure that Nate was included in a lot of the activities. I thought that was super sweet. Nate was thrilled to be included. The last day of school included 3 parties, 1 award ceremony, and a swim lesson. I can't believe we fit it all in!

I don't think this is how you limbo
This picture cracks me up!
This makes me laugh too. Like he couldn't have just walked under it.
Cade wasn't really good at the limbo. Shocking, I know!

Swim Lessons for Nate

Nate was a bit unsure about swim lessons. He complained and whined during most of his lessons, but he did it. He had a great teacher, and by the end of the week he was swimming! He was so proud of himself!! Hope he remembers how to swim after 2 weeks away from home.

Fussing the entire time!
But he is cute!
The concentration
Doing it all by himself!!!!!!!
That-a-boy!

The Boys are Back in Town

We are back from a truly fantastic time at Camp Blue Haven. Regularly scheduled blogging will now resume. Hopefully I can get Nate's swimming lesson post up later today :)

Straight From Nate

Nate has not been giving Mark the proper amount of love lately. I told Nate that Mark needed a hug. Mark happened to be shirtless. Nate replied, "But Daddy has too much fur on him." Feeling the love.

My sister was visiting. On Tuesday morning, she took Nate (still in pajamas) with her to get some donuts. The lady behind the counter made the mistake of being friendly and trying to interact with him. She complimented his pajamas and expressed a desire for some and was informed that they were too small for her. She continued to talk to him until he had had enough and informed her, "You are not my mother". She explained to him that she wasn't trying to be his mother, more like a friend. "You aren't my friend. (Child's name) is my friend." I think she finally gave up. That Nate, he is a polite one.

My sis later took Chase and Nate to a store to get a few shirts for Chase. While shopping, Nate started crying. They found him with his hand down his pants crying out loudly (with people around), "My (insert boy part) is big and it won't go down!" Repeat several times, loudly.

He is a fun one, that Nate.

I Blame It All on the Cute Baby

We were a few minutes late to church on Sunday (shocking, I know). The 2 younger boys had been delivered to their classrooms, and the rest of us made it to the auditorium. I was sitting next to Mark, Chase was next to me, and Dylan was next to him. A little further down the row was a friend of mine with her ridiculously cute baby boy. I demanded the baby, and she graciously obliged. Ummm, sweet baby boy smell. Sweet baby sucking on his paci as I patted his bottom and he slowly drifted off to sleep. Cute stick-em-up hair. Sweetness all around. Then it happened. I was instantly transported back to when the almost 13-year-old sitting next to me was a baby, and I was holding him in church while he was sleeping. Oh, how I loved holding my babies during church while they slept. Out of the blue, the tears came. Once they were turned on, there was no stopping them. They flowed, and flowed, and flowed. I returned the baby to my friend who now probably knows that I am a bit insane. Mark wasn't surprised by my tears. Poor man has seen my insanity many times. I did not even have to explain the tears, because he knows me too well. Unfortunately, giving the baby back did not stop the tears. I had to go home for a bit and clean up. Stinkin' cute baby and stinkin' boys that are growing up way too fast. Where oh where have my sweet babies gone?

Straight From Nate - Happy Father's Day

Oh my sweet yet sour Nate. He has been a little bit jealous of his daddy lately. He informed us that he does not like for Daddy to love on me. So of course, Mark loved on me which led to Nate falling face down in despair on the couch. When he sees Mark hugging me, then he will come and squeeze in-between us. If Mark happens to hold my hand, then Nate will pull my hand away. What a way to say, "Happy Father's Day". Stink.

Straight From Nate

As Nate was getting ready for bed, he pulled off his shorts, peeled off his underwear, and then announced, "And now for the grand finale!" Cracks me up.

I have many things to blog, and no time to blog them. Hopefully I will catch up on my work soon.
