The Tooth Fairy

Dylan pulled his own tooth while we were at Six Flags. His top teeth have been very slow about coming in so he has very few teeth on top!! Hopefully his teeth will come in soon. The dentist said that his other front tooth is about to poke through! Dylan forgot to put his tooth under the pillow on Tuesday night but he remembered on Wednesday night. That was the night that Mark was up late packing and we all got up at 5:30 the next morning so that we could drive Mark to the airport. When I woke Dylan up he realized that the tooth fairy had not come - uh-oh! We figure that the tooth fairy did not come because we went to bed so late and got up so early so that the tooth fairy did not have time. We apologized to Dylan for getting up so early and not giving the tooth fairy time to come visit. Fortunately, Dylan accepted our apology and the tooth fairy was able to make it the next day.

I don't think that this look will get him many girlfriends :-)

Last Summer Trip to Six Flags

We squeezed in one last Six Flags trip before school starts. We did not have a lot of time because the boys had dentist appointments in the morning and we had meet the teacher for Cade and Dylan that night. This trip we went right first instead of left. We always go to Spain first and never seem to make it all the way around. This time Nate was able to go on some rides. He had this funny blank expression on all of them. I think he liked it!? Bailey was able to join us for the fun!

Such an exciting ride for the big kids!
I like how Dylan is in a green shirt sitting in the yellow car and Cade is in a yellow shirt sitting in a green car.

See the blank face on Nate! He is just not sure what to think.

The boys played in the water while Bailey and Chase rode the Batman ride.
Nate wearing Chase's hat and watching Chase on the rocket!

The Little Gym

Cade just finished the summer session of Little Gym. It is good therapy for him and he LOVES it! He starts his fall class next week. He does much better than I expected him to do. Only a couple of kids in the class would do the roll on the beam - and Cade did it!! I am super proud at how well he is doing.

There he is rolling!
Nate getting in on the action!
Cade helping his little brother out!
Nice blurry picture - but he looks so cute!

Mowing with Daddy

All the boys have enjoyed mowing with Daddy - bet that changes when they are older :-)
Nate is finally big enough for his turn.

Weekend in Abilene

We were able to go into Abilene last weekend. I had a little bit of work to do. I love the picture of Nate "playing" Xbox with my nephew. Nate has no clue that his controller was not even hooked up. Cade and Nate did not know what to think about Ashley's sugar glider. I had the camera set on the wrong setting so these pictures are not the best. The last picture is a picture of Cade and my sweet niece Ashley. I would have put captions under the pictures but Blogger is being very strange today and I can't get it to work right.

Six Flags

Pictures from a trip to Six Flags.

Chase's friend, Kevin, with Cade. Kevin is incredibly sweet to Cade and Cade thinks that Kevin is the coolest ever!
All the kids - our neighbors went with us too.
Eating cotton candy and watching "Coobrila". The kids were impressed!

Chase's Birthday Party

Here is the birthday boy!!! Chase wanted to have friends spend the night for his birthday. There was not a good weekend time to do it but luckily school starts later this year so we were able to do it on Monday night. We limited the number of boys that he could invite. We went to see "Underdog" on Monday night. On Tuesday, we went swimming at our pool. The boys had a great time and Chase had a great birthday.

Chase got an MP3 player from us! He loves it!
Nate was excited about the Sponge Bob wrapping paper.
Chase loves his game from Grammy and Grandaddy.
Chase does not like birthday cake (crazy, I know) so we had a cookie cake.

I did not buy candles because I knew that I had a bunch at home - well, I was wrong so we had to use the candles that I had. Notice the mixture of farm animals and sea creatures - NICE. Chase tried to take the cookie cake out of the car and destroyed it a little. Soon it would be completely destroyed :-) Nate kept chanting "cookie cake, cookie cake".
