Birthdays

Two very important birthdays occurred in March. Cade turned 7 on the 14th, and Dylan turned 10 on the 26th. I meant to write a sweet post about both boys on their birthdays but that obviously is not to be. Pictures of their joint party are coming tomorrow.

Dylan showing that he is 10 - I don't really know why he was holding his hands this way. Our Dylan marches to the beat of his very own drummer.

These will be excellent blackmail pictures in the future.
Do you notice how his face is a mess? That is also very typical of our sweet, messy Dylan.
Dylan was hoping for money so that he could buy his own digital camera.

The Alamo

Cade was incredibly excited to see the Alamo. I don't know why, but he was. Unfortunately, many other people were excited to see the Alamo and the line was looooong. We did not go in the building. Cade was disappointed, but he survived.

Can you tell that the sun was bright?
The kids loved these mirrors that made you look funny. They would have stayed here for hours if we would have let them.

Here is a picture that I took before I was informed by a volunteer realized that cameras are not allowed in this area.
The cannon was appreciated by my boys
Can you almost hear the sound effects coming out of Nate's mouth?

That Blake is a smart one :)

Cade was giving a rousing talk to the troops

Nate truly loves his brothers. I love these pictures of brotherly love.

River Walk

After an afternoon at Fiesta Texas, we enjoyed a boat ride on the river.

I tried to get a "normal" picture of Dylan and Blake, but they were not cooperating.

This is what a long, busy day does to Cade.

Continuing Where I Left Off

I can't believe that it has been May since I have last blogged!! And my blog is only current through mid-March. That is because my work load became overwhelming for a while. Things are finally better under control, and now I can work at catching up!!

I am still blogging about Spring Break! Here are a few pictures from our stop at Six Flags Fiesta Texas. I had never been to Fiesta Texas, and I was pleasantly surprised. Cade and Nate loved the Wiggles area!! We all left excited about returning soon.

I was thrilled to see the Spinnaker!!! It has been renamed the Wagon Wheel, but it is just as fun as ever. I was giggling like a 10-year-old. It was really fun to introduce the boys to this ride.
