Trip to the Abilene Zoo

Cade and Nate spent a week in Abilene with their Granddad and Grammy. After Nate's nap and before the weather turned freezing cold, we went to the zoo with cousins Austin and Ashley. Rye Krisps are the cracker of choice to feed the animals. We were not sure we could lure one giraffe away from the greenery behind the fence, but with much coaxing the boys were successful. Look at that tongue! Cade wanted to feed the giraffe but sure did not want to be touched by that looooong tongue. Nate could not get close enough!
