The last day at the beach. Fay was on her way, so we really thought that there would be huge waves. Instead, there were no waves at all. It was the strangest thing. It was really windy. Cade did not handle the beach well on this day. Every time the wind would blow, the sand would blast him. He was a bit of a mess on this day.

Ok, that beach is beautiful!!!! And, your pictures of the boys are great...you will not go wrong with any of them that you pick for a Christmas card.
THe boat looks like fun and the crab hunting would be Emma's dream. She would be in crab heaven! I have had the same hermit crab conversation as you had so many times since we left the beach this summer. She wants one so bad, and I don't care if we never have an animal in this house. Unfortunately, her daddy opened his mouth and said "Maybe for your birthday"...well, that was like a solemn promise and now it's all she talks about. Ugh!
